This lesson follows studio 1 module 4 content.
it includes:
a starter on greetings
a differentiated role play task
Partner A reads the French on their card and partner B read the French on their card. They understand each other as the English translation of their lines shows on each of their role play cards. Therefore the teacher doesn’t need to support so much but with the pronunciation. Stretch task: students who finish first can have a go at the role play again, this time changing the underlined words.
Group task : ajoute six mots
student takes it in turn to stretch the sentences about town by six words, using the support vocabulary given. you could add a timer on the task to make it more competitive. (tasks includes sentences with three time frames)
Plenary: scrabble with keywords. Students needs to find keywords, adjectives which will give the highest word score. I hope you enjoy!
Students really enjoyed the role play in my lesson.
