2-Step Function Machines (KS2)
These worksheets were designed for KS2 pupils to practice and reinforce learning of function machines using 2-step operations. The worksheets involve the four operations (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing) so previous learning about these operations is required.

There is also a function machine mat included for teachers to laminate as a concrete resource to reinforce learning. Pupils can use counters to enter this function machine mat and use them to help support learning, or write numbers on them to develop mental maths.
