This sticker book has been designed for students who are working within phase 5 and phase 6, typically year 1 and year 2. However, it can be used by anyone who is ready to practice early reading and spellings.
High Frequency words are words that commonly appear in written text, so children are encouraged to learn them early which will increase fluency when reading. The words listed are in alphabetical order.
We have included a bonus material of homophone posters.
Once the student is able to read the word at least three times, we would suggest ticking the square box next to the word. Once the student is able to read and spell the word then a sticker should be placed on the star as a way of showing achievement.
