2018 SATs Data Analysis Sheet

I created this spreadsheet to help with classroom based analysis of the children’s performance in past papers. It enables the user to identify how individuals, groups and the cohort have performed in different questions.
Colleagues throughout the school found this extemely helpful and dovetails nicely with our academy network data - which is a more over-arching analysis and does not look at individual question performance.
This has enabled us to really look at gaps in learning and jump on them very quickly in interventions.
All analysis is calculated automatically, the user simply needs to input the data from individual test papers. It has the added benefit of looking up and assigning scaled scores to save that additional chore!
