LESSON 21-25 IN THE SERIES: This QUAD lesson concludes looking at Section B/ the Bond Unit, Comp 1 and chronologically follows on from the SEC A lessons on ML, Contexts and REP (see shop). This lesson covers:

-LV9 Target practice- Exemplar LV9 Industry paragraph written by me. Students fill in the blank with industry key terms learned last lesson (retained learning).
-2 Barbara Broccoli and Micheal G Wilson interviews that look at producers and Bond ownership.
-Audio/visual press junket of ‘Spectre’ release.
-Cross media ownership
-Diversification.
-An in-depth visual flow chart/ infographic created by me on the ownership of the Bond franchise.
-Horizontal and vertical integration.
-Old V New media.
-Self regulation and Independent regulation.
-BBFC tasks where students are given the BBFC guidelines and they rate what the three most complained about movies of 2015 SHOULD have been before finding out their rating (including ‘Spectre’). View a clip for each.
-Mock and Load: Mastery sheet on the following:

  1. (a) Name the organisation that regulates films in Britain. [1]

(b) 12 and 12A are examples of age certificates used in the UK. Give two other examples of age certificates used in the UK. [2]

© Briefly explain the difference between the 12 and 12A age certificates. [2]

(d) Explain why a film may be given a 12A or 12 certificate. Refer to Spectre to support your points. [12]

-In-depth look at IMAX, Snapchat and articles surrounding the marketing and promotion of ‘Spectre’.

-Worksheet and guided analysis of the Bond website.
