2024 SET TEXT EDUQAS MEDIA STUDIES GCSE COMPONENT 1 HELL PAPER (GREAT FOR DEC/JAN MOCKS)

This resource was created to really stretch my learners and is put together as a worse case scenario paper. This resource includes:

-A mock made up of three previous official/ sample papers
-Exam structure and timings
-A task/tasks on each individual question on the exam
-Student/peer focused tasks. The lesson is 100% revision/ discovery learning focused.
-Printable power point task resources and differentiated materials. NOTE: I printed all of the slides as a booklet for students to work through.

The exam follows the following structure:

CONTEXTS/ REPRESENTATION: THE SUN AND UNSEEN

INDUSTRY: THE SUN

AUDIENCE: THE ARCHERS

Designed to be delivered before the mock across 3-4 lessons (with another double to sit the paper), this re source will foster the confidence and motivation, come what may on the day of the exam.

NOTE: I am following EDUQAS Teaching Model 1 in my teaching/ SOW and my school is only providing Media Studies at GCSEl, as a three-year Course. Moreover, some of the tasks in lesson and for H/W are dependent upon owning the EDUQAS GCSE Revision Guide.
