This is a classroom/homework activity consisting of a selection of essay questions about 21st century British politics.
Each of the questions has an interesting theme about politics in the last 20 years, much of which some students will hopefully remember/be familiar with.
With each question, there is a paragraph of blue text, which gives possible content that students may write about in their answers. This could also be used as a mark scheme and/or providing class feedback to the questions.
Students should answer just one of the essay questions at a time, or they could answer them all in a lesson as a group exercise.
Learning outcomes are for students to understand some of the big political developments of the 21st century and to appreciate the standing that politics has in the modern world.
Ideal for students in Year 10 and above.
