This is a series of task and resource sheets based on the new children’s book ‘Livingstone’s Big Adventure’ by Fi Sylvester. This is a simple story that models story and sentence structures while demonstrating key values of friendship, encouragement and perseverance.
The work covers vocabulary, sentence structure (building, extending) punctuation, word types, connectives/conjunctions, reading comprehension (recall, prediction and inference) and writing tasks based on the book. These lessons include supporting information where necessary.
