3 Bible Stories in Simple Poetry Form

This resource is specifically crafted for EYFS and KS1 children . It is an interactive addition to your RE resources for Christianity.
It offers 3 Bible stories, “The Good Samaritan”, “Noah and the Ark”, and “Jonah and the Whale”.
Each story is paired with a colourful picture. These illustrations can act as discussion starters, allowing children to voice their interpretations, make predictions and share understandings.
Simplified short poems accompany each picture which tells part of the stories.
The black and white versions of the stories invite children to overwrite the poems. This activity provides an opportunity for fine motor skill development as children practice writing.
By offering both colored and black & white versions, children are given the opportunity to colour and personalize the stories.
