This powerpoint has been written for the A-level 3D Art and design course, specifically to support non art students and engineering/DT students with their understanding of the art process of looking at primary sources for inspiration. I delivered the lesson at the start of the design process to help students link to primary sources in their observational drawing.

Within the powerpoint are a range of visual examples that should help students see how drawing and photographs can be done purposefully to help the design and making process.

I found it really clarified students understanding of AO3 (AQA).
