4 Letter Animals Word + Picture Matching

This is a resource where children match the 4 letter words to the animals in two ways using the word cards and the posters.
There is a poster for each animal word where the children are holding up each letter.
A lovely phonics, reading and spelling activity which also makes a good classroom display.
If you have letter tiles or cards, children can match these to the posters. Laminate the posters and they can be used for play-doh mats.

Note there is one extra animal - a tiger - see if children can spot this.
