States of matter is a comprehensive lesson designed to help Year 7 students develop their understanding of how the properties of solids, liquids, gases can be explained using the particle model through engaging activities and differentiated instruction.

This lesson is the 2nd in a series of lessons and covers the content from the AQA KS3 3.5.1 The particle model topic and the Activate 1 (OUP) 5a: The particle model, 5.1.2 States of matter lesson.
