1) To describe the effect of diet and exercise on the development of obesity, cardiovascular disease and diabetes
2) To describe how alcohol affects the liver, the brain, unborn babies
3) To identify carcinogens
There are a range of activities to choose from: video, sorting tasks, exam questions, data analysis and comprehension questions. There is too much material to cover in one lesson - you will have to select what is better suited for your class. There are several challenge questions and differentiated tasks scattered throughout.
