9 Week SOW on Ethics and Technology/ Human Ingenuity (Artificial Intelligence)

36 lessons split into 9 weekly ppts. Included are a range of reading, writing, speaking and listening tasks with answers. Each lesson should last 55 minutes and includes many audio-visual links and both past and modern references (Frankenstein, Player Piano, Cambridge Analytica, Star Trek Picard, Devs, Alexa, Quayside Toronto).

It was prepared for a pre-IB class, but it could be used for IB students. The questions mimic the IB style. The lessons focus on ethics and technology and human ingenuity, mainly the ethics of artificial intelligence. The main text type studied throughout and assessed at the end is the opinion column and the main speaking task prepared for is the Socratic seminar. There are some individual oral tasks geared towards English B standard level too.

Included are also some targets and feedback related to opinion columns. Also, I have included Managebac inquiry questions.
