This lesson can be used either as an introduction to crafting Gothic characters or as writing practise. Students will firstly work to understand how to create a semantic field and what the effect is. They will then use their own word bank to write a character driven descriptive piece of writing using a trailer and script excerpt from Netflix TV show Hunted Hill House. All resources embedded within powerpoint including self assessment sheet.
