Most A Level students find it hard to make the jump between GCSE and A Level and this essay is a good starting point for that skill. Plan the essay first with them and let them read and highlight the model answer noting the classic FAD introduction, counter argument and argument main section and fully balanced conclusion. Then take it away and get them to have a go. A good way of building confidence whilst ensuring you are modelling good structure and habits from the word go.
