Cloud 9 by Caryl Churchill - I have put together two power point presentations that contain various tasks that will enable A Level students doing the OCR A Level in Drama and Theatre - to revise and gain a deeper understanding of Cloud 9 as a play and its contexts, themes, motifs and symbols.
Students completing these tasks will have to have access to copies of the play but not necessarily to have seen it.
Tasks include; researching into Caryl Churchill as a playwright, post modernism, feminism, sexual oppression, Colonialism and oppression, character profiling, character analysis, quizzes linking to Act 1 and Act 2, costume and set design tasks.
