Three essay feedback sheets for 9, 15 and 25 mark answers to A Level Economics, AQA specification. I use these when returning sixth form students’ answers. They get to see the marking codes I use for speedy and accurate marking, relating to the AOs, assessment objectives. Levels and grade descriptors are clear. Essay checklist e.g. PEAL paragraphs included as is space on the reverse for students to identify areas of strengths and weakness.
I use these sheets when students first attempt the different lengths of question, training them to remember all the golden rules around using definitions, PEAL paragraphs, including context as well as appropriate, accurate and well referred diagrams.
The marking codes can be adapted to suit your centre.
