Washing line
Equipment needed:
String, pegs, at least two copies of this resource printed onto coloured card or paper
Depending on size of class, split into at least two teams
Do not print slide 4, this is just the answer
Each card needs to be printed, chopped and sorted.
Teacher reads out the sentence in English, giving unstuck clues where necessary
Winner, is the team with the sentence pegged onto the washing line correctly
TIP: I ask students to peg the cards on the bottom, so they do not cover up any of the words
