The 49th in Mr Barton's Autograph Video tutorial series. Following directly on from Video 48, this week we look at how we can use Autograph’s unique 3D engine to demonstrate to students exactly where the formula for the volume of revolution comes from. This provides a nice insight into limits and the fundamental theorem of calculus. Clicking on the web-link you can see all the videos in this series.

This is another brilliant video tutorial from Mr Barton which demonstrates where the formula for the volume of revolution comes from. The idea is that you can show students why the formula works and they should then be more able to recall it. The instructions are very clear and should allow you to produce the Autograph file yourself, although you could always just show this video. There are lots of other great ideas in this series which are well worth a look, thank you for sharing.
