I am pleased to add a series of KS3 reading and writing intervention tasks.
The tasks are used in-line with all of the new GCSE skills as required by AQA - including both literature and language.
How the tasks work: if a student is struggling with, for example, the reading skill of inference, print them off the inference task and they then complete this task in their book - this works for all the other reading/writing skills: language/structure/description etc.
There are a variety of texts - non-fiction/fiction/poetry/the Shakespeare play ‘The Taming of the Shrew’/descriptive writing.
These can be easily adapted by yourself as and when you need them for whatever texts/schemes you are teaching.
These tasks are perfect in terms of allowing you to differentiate/intervene with under-performing students.
Something went wrong, please try again later.
This is a great resource for children who need extra help in KS3 and beyond. I found the reading tasks particularly useful and well structured. There is a lot of material here too. Worth the money! Thanks for this.
