This powerpoint or video can be used to introduce your pupils to the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté in France. With the slides and commentary in French pupils find out where the region is on the map whilst also explaining the departmental numbering system. We explore the specialities of the region, talk about Dijon and Vézelay as places of interest to visit and also identify two famous people who were born in the region. There are questions at the end of each section with answers at the end of the presentation as well as reference to key words that have been identified during the slides.
Maison Claire Fontaine is situated in the rural hamlet of Méluzien , near the town of Avallon, in the department of Yonne in the region of Bourogogne Franche-Comté. Each week we welcome school groups from the UK to this beautiful part of France for a truly French experience. Our aim is to inspire and enthuse the next generation of UK language ambassadors and hope that they may learn to fall in love with the French country, culture and language as we have.
