By the end of this lesson sequence students should be able to:
- identify what a trade route is.
- differentiate between trading and buying and selling.
- describe the ways in which Aboriginal people moved goods and services between groups.
- understand the effect of Aboriginal trading on British settlement and vica versa.
The PowerPoint acts as a guide for both teachers and students and the accompanying worksheets are referenced within the PowerPoint at the appropriate points.
There are points for discussion and Kagan structures can be used throughout.
