This full lesson PowerPoint (with practical activity) will allow you to teach a broad range of abilities about acids, alkalis and how to make an indicator from fruit/vegetable matter. The lesson is in keeping with the current KS3 UK National Curriculum, is easily accessible for students and simple to follow for teachers.

This is one of several lessons that I offer for free so users can sample my work before deciding whether to pay for further resources. The other free lessons that I offer are detailed in the attached document “Year 7 Science lessons checklist”. If you find these lessons useful, please leave constructive reviews and take a look at the many discounted bundles that I offer across KS3 and KS4.

Thanks for making this available for free. It will give my students a nice gentle introduction to practical work with acids. Thanks for providing detailed equipment lists with your PowerPoints too, they are a real time-saver.
