Actus reus - conduct, consequence, omissions, state of affairs, involuntariness

The presentation consider what is meant by the term actus reus. The presentation focuses on the different types of actus reus, for example when looking at omissions, types of duties are considered such as failing to minimise the harmful consequences of your act. Relevant cases are considered and there is opportunities for students to apply points of law and relevant cases to different scenarios. The presentation will last approximately 2-3 hours and will allow opportunity for class discussions.
