Adapted Math Binder: Base 10 is a must-have resource for any third-grade teacher looking to help their adapted students succeed in math.
This adapted math binder was specifically designed to be used by my math students who follow an ADAPTED IEP. It is aligned with the Pearson Number Math Program but will work for any student needing graphic organizers, scaffolding, or extra work space or assistance when working independently or with an assistant.
This adapted math binder covers Base 10 blocks and place value concepts consistent with the expectations for grade 3 and grade 4 students. With this binder, you will no longer need to search for graphic organizers for your students to be able to follow their adapted program. They will have them at their fingertips! This binder will also allow your adapted students and their assistants/ parents to follow the math content presented in your classroom while working at a comfortable and manageable pace.
Another great feature of this Adapted Math Binder is that very little prep time is needed to get it ready! Simply print off the pages, place them in page protectors, place the page protectors in a binder, grab some dice, a dry-erase marker, a dry erase eraser, your student’s regular math workbook, and you are ready to go!
