Addition and Subtraction up to 10

This lesson plan aligns with Oklahoma academic standard 1.N.2.1, in which students will compose and decompose numbers up to ten. To teach your lesson, use the learning sheets provided to draw visuals in the boxes. For example, to teach 2 + 2, draw two objects in the first box and two in the second. Count the numbers aloud with your students to get the answer. For 3-2, draw three objects and X out two. A worksheet is provided for independent practice in which students will draw their own visuals.
