Adjectives Timer Game

This game can be played in either a small group or as a whole class starter and encourages the children to think about adjectives. It can be played individually, in pairs, or in groups and the children pick a card and then have 1 minutes (I usually use a sand timer) to think of as many adjectives to describe their character or animal within that time. The idea is to see which person or group can think of the most adjectives and it encourages them to use a wider variety of adjectives than they might normally use.
