A lovely start but ultimately it's limited to the 3 commands of dim, write and IfThenElse. I wonder if you could use varaibles set to 0 and then say if you pick up a key in the game you could set the key variable to 1 and that would allow the player to open a door using an IF, using the same principle you could then let players combine objects that they have picked up to make new objects. I can't see 4 lessons worth of work in this as it stands but it has the potential to be fabulous. Just needs more depth, but off to search net now for more vb adventure game stuff that I can screencast as it's a really good idea.
Cheers. Using this with AS Computing students
