Students are presented with festive drinks orders and challenged to find the cost of the individual drinks. In order to find the cost, they need to covert the orders into simultaneous equations to solve.

This is a PowerPoint presentation so can be easily displayed on the board and/or printed for students.

5 sets of equations that can be solved by simple subtraction.
5 sets of equations that require students to multiply one equation before subtracting.
5 sets of equations that require students to multiply both equations before subtracting.
