Each pupils choose a starting number from the differentiated options and choose which of the 4 operations (plus, minus, divide and multiply) they are going to use. Ie starting number 47, I will plus my number of cousins, which is 12, my answer is 59.
Can be used as a written task, game, mental maths or circle time game and adaptable to all levels.
