It asks questions using the working scientifically criteria and Maths from the specification. These 9-1 graded exam style questions come with model answers are adapted from AQA past papers.
It includes Neutralisation, Rates of Reaction (Two: Thiosulfate and Magnesium), Identifying Ions, Temperature Change, Electrolysis, Chromatography, Making Salts and Water Purification. It covers Working Scientifically (2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.6 and 2.7).
It is normally used post practical to test/check students understanding, or to assess student’s levels. It can also be used in conjunction with the practical, as a revision or homework activity. It can be used with all abilities and comes with a help sheet (worth £1) and answers.
It also includes questions with the following terms:
Accuracy, calibration, error, anomalies, random error, systematic error, zero error, evidence, fair test, hypothesis, precision, prediction, repeatable, reproducible, resolution,sketch graph, true value, validity, valid conclusion, variables, control, dependent, independent, risk, hazard and control.
