This is a lesson I used with my lower ability learners as a basic introduction to Pythagoras. It starts with general retrieval practise and leads onto who Pythagoras was with some funny facts about the Pythagoreans! Students are then introduced to Pythag Theorem! There are some guided and independent questions using right angled triangles but I supplement this with one of the may free worksheets on TES to consolidate the learning.
