
Ingredients
1 large or 2 small eating apples
Puff pastry 320g (I used ready rolled)
Sweet ground cinnamon
Granulated sugar (to sprinkle over turnovers)
Method
- Peel and chop apple into small chunks
- Unroll the pastry and cut out 6 squares
- Place apple chunks onto the square, leaving a gap around the edge
- Sprinkle sweet ground cinnamon on top of the apple
- Wet the pastry edges with water and join the corners and edges
- Use a fork to seal the edges and pierce a hole in the top
- Sprinkle sugar on top of each turnover
- Place in a preheated oven at 180°C fan/200°C/gas 6 for 20 minutes until golden.
