This is the 2nd lesson in the AQA A GCSE 'Practices' unit of work for Islam and it is focused on the second of the 5 pillars, Salah (this is split into 2 lessons in the textbook as there is so much content and I have chosen to do the same so this is the first of 2 lessons on this pillar).
The lesson has been fully resourced to a high standard with a range of differentiated tasks included (using the good, better, best system). The lesson is designed to challenge the students as well as make them familiar with new concepts, knowledge and how to apply their learning to the exam.
Please check the bottom of all slides for teachings hints and tips as well as for any video and film links.
I will be adding lessons on a weekly basis so please keep looking!
If you choose to use this resource I would really appreciate a review.
