The slides make mention of ‘PETE’ paragraphs (point/evidence/technical terms/elaboration) but could easily be modified for whatever structured paragraph model you use!
These resources contain: introductions, a focus on graphology, target audiences, mind-mapping, skim-reading, discussion, flipped learning, comprehension, focused reading, language analysis and a compare/contrast activity. If that is 'very, very basic' then it's because these sessions are typically run early in the course (very accessible texts, see) and are all about establishing an understanding of core skills and terminology.
