This is a resource which looks at the social issue affecting Britain during the 1990s, mainly during the time when John Major was prime minister. It is divided into sections, each one with added hyperlinks. The areas covered are the changing attitudes to homosexuality, anti establishment culture, the position of women and race relations. Clips included are the 'annus horribilis' speech from the Queen, Diana's famous Panorama interview and her visit to an aids ward. There is also a complete set of notes to accompany the presentation.
