AQA A level modern Britain, Race and immigration and women in the 1970s

There are two lessons which deal with social issues in the 1970s.
The first lesson on race and immigration begins with the influx of the Ugandan Asians (hyperlink included) and the subequent Race Relations Act. The lesson then explores the impact of the growth of the National Front (hyperlink included) and the response from the government. There are further hyperlinks included which focus on whether Britain was becomming a more tolerant society such as Blair Peach. A set of notes is also included.
The second lesson is on the role of women in the 1970s and impact of the legislation passed. Two hyperlinks are included which show different interpretations of the protest at the Miss World finals. A set of notes is also included.
