This package includes a 3 lesson bundle which I used to help prepare my Year 12 students for the Unit 3 Pre-Release Exam (June 2018) on the Chernobyl Disaster.
Lesson 1: A guide to help to students to highlight/annotate the document to really help them get to know it well. This is a very student led lesson.
Lesson 2: A PPT designed to teach students how to assess the reliability of their sources. It also goes through some key aspects of scientific methodology.
Lesson 3: A mock Unit 3 exam. I made this myself, based on the previous two Pre-Release Unit 3 exams (June 2017 and January 2018). I have tried to make the questions similar to those included in the last two years. I have also included a mark scheme (although the answer for the final question is omitted as it just would have taken me ages to write!).
