These are two model articles that can be used as a guide for teaching. One focuses on the ‘wellness’ industry and is pitch to grade 7-9 students. The other is about mental health and is pitched to grade 4-6 students. Each use a similar structure (opening, statistics, anecdotes, ‘mention and destroy’) as well as journalistic flourishes to aid students in developing their style.
