This is a lesson bundle for the 4th and 5th topics in Forensic Psychology in the Illuminate Publishing Year 2 Psychology textbook:
Lesson 4: Biological Explanations - Atavistic Form
Lesson 5: Biological Explanations - Genetic and Neural Explanations
The presentations contain outlines for the majority of AO1, but they do leave some detail and much of the AO2 and AO3 work for the students to come up with. I designed the PPTs to have less, rather than more, information on them in order to make my students think first, and write after. My students want to copy and memorise, and I'm trying to encourage them to come to their own conclusions first, and then note down the most relevant application and evaluation points. Each presentation has a starter slide before the title slide.
The additional documents are intended for you to use however you see fit - as in-class work, extension or homework, depending on the length of your lesson and the pace of your students. The information they contain is from publications, books or news articles.
I hope you find these materials useful and flexible. Any feedback would be appreciated as I am developing lesson materials as I go along!

Was very disappointed with this resource. The genetic/neural PPT is sparse and is not fit to be taught straight away. requires some work to make this lesson into a solid hours worth of work
