poorly design resource, half of the important information is missing from the lesson (in particular, important practions of reaction of acids with metal carbonates), ionic equations are wrong. Will not recommend this at all.

I think the ionic equation for calcium carbonate and hydrochloric acid is incorrect. Shouldn't it be O^2- + 2H^+ --> H2O? Also theres no mention of the required practical, making a salt from a metal carbonate.
