Audience - GCSE separate chemistry and chemistry content in trilogy science

This is a sizeable, yet concise revision booklet for both separate chemists and Trilogy students. To accompany my booklet, I’ve condensed lots of exam questions to make a pack to just include 4&6 mark questions. The exam questions also come with an edited markscheme.

This resource covers all topics except quantitative chemistry. There is a lot more than one lesson worth of material here. This could be used for several lessons.

Topic 1 – Atomic structure and the periodic table
Topic 2- Bonding, structure and the properties of matter
Topic 3 – Quantitative chemistry (Not included)
Topic 4 – Chemical changes
Topic 5 – Energy changes
Topic 6 – The rate and extent of chemical change
Topic 7 – Organic chemistry
Topic 8 – Chemical analysis
Topic 9 – Chemistry of the atmosphere
Topic 10 – Using the Earth’s resources.

The focus of the revision guide is to focus students’ learning on how they ought to answer common questions. The revision booklet can be used as a reference booklet to help students tackle exam questions.

Please note, as this spec is new, there isn’t many new spec exam questions. Also, I haven’t put any specimen paper questions in here as I know we all like to use them as mock paper questions.
