Tiered means that the tasks are Foundation and Higher (marked as [FH], whilst some specific questions are targeted at Higher students only (marked as [H].
We also know that teachers all work differently, so there is a version with lines, where students can answer questions directly on the sheets, and a no-line version, which is ideal if you are trying to save on photocopying!
