Lesson plan which focuses on the Anthology poem 'Singh Song'
Lesson is structured to allow students to explore understanding of the language prior to annotating their anthology, includes annotated copy of the poem which prompts students to think about the meaning of language, the use of language devices and the message of the poem.
Students then have the opportunity to answer an 'unseen poem' exam style question - How does the poet present the relationship with his wife in the poem 'Singh Song'?
