This is a single worksheet and accompanying PowerPoint to support students revising Act 1 of the play, Macbeth. There is a ‘Revise the Plot’ activity in which students have to delete two of the three alternatives given to find the correct plot; 10 ‘Who? What? Why? When? Where? How?’ questions to further develop understanding; 4 ‘Who says?’ questions and 4 questions about parallel lines in the play. All answers are provided on the PowerPoint which can be used as a lesson in itself; allowing the teacher go through each task and then the answers with the whole class. Also suitable as a homework task.
