This is a whole lesson to support the learning of AQA’s Power and Conflict poetry anthology. This is the first lesson in a scheme of work that covers the poems that need studying for the AQA Literature Paper 2. As an introduction to poetry this lesson covers poetic devices students will look to find when annotating poetry, examples of poetry, a game of poetry bingo and an overview of the exam, with the mark scheme.
This lesson includes copies of the poems studied during the lesson and a poetry bingo sheet.
