Introduction - The specification and how to use the booklet
Section 1 - 15 pages of knowledge based questions, each page has a key topic in the spec e.g. ‘Charles I’s early Parliaments’ or ‘Political and Religious Radicalism’.
Section 2 - Practice Exam Questions, past exam questions given alongside a quick and easy to use planning table to prepare students for quick planning of essays. Each practice question includes planning space for 3 factors and ranking then judgement and justification in the conclusion.
Section 3 - Guided Revision Maps - Themed timelines for students to complete as revision, revision pages on the strenghts/weaknesses of rulers
Section 4 - Important individuals - Key individuals that students should know are listed with space for them to make notes on each.
Section 5 - How far do you agree? - 18 statements on the topic, students must make a judgement on how far they agree and provide a justification for this view, this promotes quick decision making necessary in their exams. Statements include ‘The Rump had more achievements than failures, how far do you agree?’, ‘Finance rather than religion caused the most opposition to personal rule’ and ‘Millenarianism was a genuine threat to society.’
