This Unseen Poetry booklet contains seven pairs of ‘unseen’ poems. It is designed to familiarise students with the requirements for AQA English Literature Paper 2 Section C, Questions 1 and 2.
How to use this booklet: the first poem should be analysed alone, whilst the second poem is introduced to compare how methods are used in each of the poems. AQA’s recent changing of the wording to the question in this exam has been reflected in this booklet.
Great resource for carefully selected practice of this difficult question. All feedback is welcomed!
- Please note this booklet contains only the pairs of poems; there is no analysis/model answers *

Hi, sorry if I am missing something, but this resource seems only to contain the poems (in pairs). It doesn't have any analysis. To me, the blurb is therefore misleading. It says the booklet "uses" pairs of poems, and then says, "the first poem is analysed alone, whilst the second is "introduced to compare" etc. as if there is actual analysis in there. If I had known it was just the poems and a question for each pair, I would not have bought it.
