Arctic themed drama and Geography lesson plan for children in reception and year one.
Exploring the arctic through the medium of drama using movement and discussion in a bid to educate the children on climate change and teach them a little Geography in a hands on and creative way that they will remember.

For children to learn about the Arctic and climate change in a hands on and age appropriate way. Whilst they are visualizing and acting out certain scenarios they will gain a clearer understanding of what the environment is like which will enhance the discussion and presentation time at the end. From a drama perspective they will be incorporating team work, communication, mime, role play, and public speaking.

Lesson includes warm up, imaginative thinking, mime and freeze frames, role play and discussion.
